Faiz Ali Faiz belongs to the next generation of the Haji Rehmat Ali and Saeen Muhammad Tufail. He has performed all over the world and has done experimentation by fusing qawwali with Gospel music and Flamenco. Starting qawwali in 1978, he learned from Abdul Rahim Faridi, Ghulam Shabbir and Ghulam Jaffer. He belongs to Chishti Qadri Qalandri order and is a follower of Pir Sayyad Dilawar Ali Shah of Hazara.
